The European Semester will play a key role in the implementation of the National Recovery Plans, to be submitted by mid-October. The reform of the Semester process was already in the pipeline [2] SOLIDAR is a European and worldwide network of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) working to advance social justice in Europe and worldwide. With over 60 member organisations based in 29 countries (24 of which are EU countries), member organisations are national CSOs in Europe, as well as some non-EU and EU-wide organisations, working in one or more of our fields of activity. Integrating the European Pillar of Social Rights and the SDGs in the European Semester On 13 th November 2019, SOLIDAR hosted an event at the European Parliament to present their new report, The Social Rights Monitor , which is composed of research from 16 countries in Europe based on the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights. I am the social policy coordinator of SOLIDAR since October 2020. In this organisation, I coordinate SOLIDAR work on EU social policy in particular on employment, social inclusion, migration, capacity building, access to social rights and the monitoring of the European Semester and the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
